Wolfram Urbanek

Wolfram Urbanek has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Wolfram has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1994 as a Senior Staff Engineer at Silicon Microstructures, Inc. Wolfram then became the Director of Sales and Marketing at the same company from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2003, Wolfram served as the Director of Engineering at Oriol Inc. Wolfram later joined Steridian Inc as the Principal Process Development Engineer from 2004 to 2006. Wolfram's next role was as the Sr. Engineering Manager at Coherent Inc, where they worked from 2006 to 2013. Most recently, they have been serving as the VP Engineering, Semiconductor Lasers at nLIGHT since 2013.

Wolfram Urbanek completed their Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering and Mathematics respectively from Swarthmore College. Wolfram pursued further education and obtained their Ph.D. in EE, Solid State Physics from the University of Pennsylvania.
