Andreas Herden

Andreas Herden is currently the Managing Director for Germany at nLighten, a position held since July 2025. Previously, Andreas served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Continental Europe at Green Mountain AS from September 2022 to June 2025, focusing on establishing high standards in the data center industry. Prior to that, Andreas worked as Chief Sales Officer at Lefdal Mine Datacenter AS, where efforts were directed towards developing one of Europe’s largest data centers. With a significant tenure at Equinix from 2016 to 2020, Andreas held various director roles in sales for vertical markets and specific enterprise sectors. Earlier career highlights include director positions at Avaya and Nortel, where responsibilities encompassed sales engineering and operations. Andreas began a professional journey in 1983, starting with an apprenticeship at Sparkasse-Finanzgruppe, followed by managerial roles within the Bundeswehr and IT consulting at Ciba-Geigy.
