Marcus Robinson

Medical Director at NLL

Marcus Robinson has extensive experience in the field of sports medicine. Marcus currently serves as a Sport Medicine Physician/Medical Director at Innovative Sport Medicine and holds the position of Team Physician at Lacrosse Canada and Cavalry FC. Marcus has also fulfilled the role of a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. In the past, they have held positions as the Medical Director at the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and as Team Physician for various professional sports teams such as Calgary Hitmen Hockey, Calgary Roughnecks, Inc., and Calgary Stampeder Football Club. Marcus has also worked as a Sport Medicine Physician at the University of Calgary and Matrix MSK.

Marcus Robinson completed their education at the University of Calgary, where they obtained a degree in Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Family Medicine as a resident physician. Marcus also holds a Medical Doctor degree from The University of British Columbia. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Applied Science degree with a focus on Orthopaedic Engineering Research from the same institution. Marcus'sundergraduate studies at The University of British Columbia led to a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Metals & Materials Engineering.
