Rob Benson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rob began their career in 1985 as an Internal Auditor at Slattery Skanska Inc., where they audited subcontractor billings and handled billing for subcontractors. Rob also maintained spreadsheets for miscellaneous projects. From 1989 to 2003, they worked at SMG Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, where they were responsible for scoreboard and timing operations. In 2000, they joined PA SportsTicker as a Newsroom Manager, overseeing the newsroom operations and conducting internal audits of sports statistics. Rob also managed play-by-play data for college basketball and football. In 2002, they worked as an Internal Statistical Auditor at the Arena Football League, ensuring accuracy and fairness in statistical reporting. In 2008, they served as an Internal Auditor for the State of Connecticut, before transitioning to a vendor relations role at Waste Management in 2009. At Waste Management, they handled vendor payment and service issues, providing solutions to vendors and clients. Rob later became the Director of Statistics at the National Lacrosse League in 2010. Throughout their career, Rob Benson has demonstrated strong analytical and managerial skills.

From 1982 to 1983, Rob Benson attended Control Data Institute and obtained a Certificate in Computer Technology, specifically in Computer Software Engineering.
