Doug Smith

Doug Smith is a litigator at Mayer Brown and a lecturer in law at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Admitted to practice law in California, New York, and Colorado, Doug has served as a law clerk to various judges, including The Honorable Beverly B. Martin and The Honorable Monica M. Márquez. As the Board Chair at The Samburu Project and a Board Member at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, Doug is actively involved in pro bono work. They also hold the position of Managing Editor at the Journal of Law & Cyber Warfare. Doug received the Jack Berman Award of Achievement from the State Bar of California for exemplary pro bono service.
