Dr. Gitanjali P. is a DOH certified Medical Microbiologist with a focus on infectious diseases, hospital infection control, and antimicrobial stewardship. They have held roles such as Consultant Microbiologist at Sahyadri Hospitals and Specialist Microbiologist at Ahalia Hospital, and currently serve as an MD Microbiologist and Infection Control Chairperson at NMC Healthcare. With advanced training in fungal diagnostics and a strong background in molecular microbiology, lab automation, and quality management, Dr. Gitanjali is dedicated to improving patient safety through robust diagnostics and evidence-based infection prevention. They are actively pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Microbiology and have completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Mimer Medical College in Pune, India.
