Stefan Sickel

Stefan Sickel is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in healthcare. Currently serving as Chief Supply Chain Officer at NMC Healthcare since March 2023, Stefan is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain, encompassing sourcing, planning, procurement, warehousing, and inventory management. Prior to this role, Stefan held various key positions at Mediclinic Middle East from August 2009 to March 2023, including Senior Director of Supply Chain and Group Manager of Business Support Services, overseeing pharmacy, procurement, and related services. Earlier roles at Mediclinic International focused on global pharmaceutical and surgical procurement. Stefan's career began as Managing Director at Erongomed from March 2006 to July 2009. Educational qualifications include a B.Pharm degree from the University of the Western Cape and ongoing studies in the Health Leadership Programme at INSEAD.
