Arran Bastable

Arran Bastable is the Technical Director at NMC Energy Ltd, where they lead multidisciplinary project teams in the oil and gas industry, particularly focusing on topsides decommissioning. With over 12 years of engineering experience, including five years as a Lead Electrical Engineer at AMEC plc and Aker Solutions, Arran has delivered multiple successful projects, notably achieving significant cost and schedule efficiencies. They are currently directing engineering and project management services through Interplexity Limited while also managing a hand weaving business in South Africa. Arran holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is pursuing further education in safety management.
