Cathy Allen is a Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery, currently serving as an Associate Clinical Professor at UCD. With extensive experience at The National Maternity Hospital since 2009, Cathy has led initiatives in women's health and played a key role in educational efforts for medical students and clinical fellows. Previously, Cathy worked as an IVF clinician at Oxford Fertility Unit in 2008, and has been associated with Merrion Fertility Clinic since 2009, focusing on patient-empowered care in infertility and advocating for public IVF funding. Cathy holds a Certificate in Medical Executive Leadership from Trinity Business School and a medical degree from RCSI.
