David Crosby

David Crosby serves as the Head of the Department of Reproductive Medicine and Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at The National Maternity Hospital since January 2022, and also holds the position of Clinical Director at Merrion Fertility Clinic. In addition, David Crosby is an Assistant Clinical Professor at University College Dublin. Previous experience includes a Fellowship in Perinatal and Reproductive Genetics at Columbia University and roles such as Chief Resident in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Cork University Maternity Hospital. David Crosby has received notable awards, including the British Fertility Society Young Clinician Award and the RCOG Harold Malkin Prize, and has contributed to research, securing a €55,000 grant for work on endometrial markers of implantation. Educational qualifications span multiple institutions, culminating in degrees in Medicine, Genomic Medicine, Business Administration, Obstetric Ultrasound, and Reproductive Endocrinology, among others.
