Paula Walzer

Paula Walzer, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work, particularly in early childhood and developmental programs. From September 2013 to February 2016, Paula served as a Family Worker/Special Needs Specialist at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, working within a renowned Head Start program and advocating for preschool special education services. Prior experience includes a role as Development Director at Kingsbridge Heights Community Center from 2002 to 2005. Currently, Paula holds several important positions, including Director of Development at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation since February 2016, Trauma-Informed Social Worker for Thrive NYC's Trauma Smart Program since October 2017, and Early Childhood Social Worker with the NYC Department of Education since September 2018. Paula earned a Master of Social Work degree from Silberman School of Social Work in 2013, specializing in Clinical/Medical Social Work.
