Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto Architects (NMR) is a comprehensive architecture, structural engineering and interior design firm with offices in Redding, Chico, Santa Rosa and Monterey. With a staff of over 70 dedicated professionals and support personnel, NMR is one of the largest architectural firms in northern California.

We excel in all phases of civic, healthcare, education, religious, commercial, senior living and residential projects. Projects range from $5,000 ADA compliance issues to $82 million government office complexes. NMR possesses state-of-the-art computer-assisted design and drafting (CAD) capabilities and propriety project management software.

The continued growth of Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto reflects the firm’s success in establishing an organization comprised of experienced and talented architects and engineers who are dedicated to their clients and their profession. In an era of technical complexity and limited resources, the ability to consistently create projects of architectural distinction requires a commitment to design excellence and hard work.

NMR’s guiding principle is to balance functional and aesthetic elements with innovative technical solutions. Our designs are dictated solely by the requirements and goals of our clients, taking into account the site, prospective inhabitants and their usability issues and environmental concerns. The ability to be flexible, coupled with a deep respect for the interests of every client and the realities of budgets and schedules, has allowed us to produce a body of work that is a great source of pride for our clients and our firm. It is because of this that a significant portion of NMR’s projects are repeat clients.
