Founded and headquartered in Sweden’s mining capital, Kiruna, NMV Group has a long-standing position as a manufacturer and supplier of products for the mining and tunnelling industry in northern Sweden and beyond.

From humble beginnings in a garage in Kiruna in 1947, the company quickly developed into a leading supplier to the Swedish iron ore mining company Luossavaara-Kiirunavaara Aktiebolag (LKAB) and the Kiruna Mine.

Today, Nybergs Mekaniska Verkstad is the parent company of the versatile NMV Group, which has branches and subsidiaries in several locations in northern Sweden. Our product range includes rock bolts, mining and utility vehicles, customised vehicles for steelworks and smelters, as well as award-winning rail freight wagons for minerals and bulk with associated unloading stations. 

Our branches in Piteå and Luleå offer expertise in machining and engineering, sheet metal and stainless steel, project management, and maintenance and industrial services.
