Floris Koolen is currently a Quantitative Investment Strategist at NN Group, a position held since September 2022, following a role as a Finance & Risk Trainee. During a second traineeship at NN Belgium, from September 2023 to February 2024, Floris Koolen supports the Actuarial Function Holder. Previously, as a Risk Manager at Nationale-Nederlanden, from September 2022 to August 2023, multiple projects were undertaken within the Risk Office of NN Life, focusing on data migrations, morbidity assumptions, climate financial stress testing methodology, and risk dashboarding. Earlier experience includes a position as a Stafadviseur Robotic Process Automation at UMC Utrecht and involvement in patient administration from January 2019 to January 2021. Floris Koolen holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Management Science: Operations Research and Quantitative Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Utrecht University.
