Thomas de Jong

Thomas De Jong has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thomas currently holds the position of Chief Procurement Officer at NN Group since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Manager Center of Excellence Group Procurement at NN Group starting from March 2018. Thomas also served as the Chief Procurement Officer / Director at Delta Lloyd from 2014 to 2018. Before that, they held various IT managerial positions at Delta Lloyd and Tele2. Thomas also has experience as an Investment Banker at EPIC and as a Financieel Project Manager at Postbank. Thomas started their career as an Interim Manager at De Jong Interim Management and as a Manager Magazijn en Opslag at Smit Ovens.

Thomas De Jong completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy & Finance from the University of Groningen from 1986-1993. Thomas also participated in the Executive Program on Negotiation and Leadership at Harvard Law School in 2014. In the same year, they completed the Bedrijfsgeïntegreerd Senior Leiderschap Programma (BSLP) at Stichting Bedrijfskunde. In 2011-2012, they attended the Advanced Development Program at the Chicago Booth School London, earning an ADP degree.
