Derik Coetzer is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategist with extensive experience in the investment and advisory sectors. As the Co-Founder of NOA since May 2022, and the Founder of vertX/Kired Holdings since January 2007, Derik has focused on investments in Energy, Technology, Property, and Financial Services, with notable investments including Energy Partners, a leading energy solutions provider in South Africa. Additionally, Derik founded Whole Moon Holdings in July 2019, which specializes in plant-based wellness opportunities. Previously, Derik founded Energy Partners and held strategy management roles at Sanlam Private Investments and TACA, as well as working as a consultant at Bain & Company. Derik holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge, a CFA from AIMR, a B. Compt. in Business from the University of the Free State, and completed high school at Grey College.
