Derek Taylor is a professional with extensive experience in transportation modeling and urban planning. Currently serving as the Manager of Transportation Modeling at the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) since April 2012, Derek is responsible for developing input data for the agency’s travel demand model and analyzing outputs related to traffic volumes and congestion levels. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Team NEO, a GIS Intern and City Planner/GIS Specialist at the City of East Cleveland, and a Research Assistant at ideastream. Derek holds a Master of Urban Planning, Design, and Development with a GIS specialization from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Economics, and Sociology from Hiram College.
