Ben Lord is currently a Cloud Engineer at NOAH. Ben previously worked as a Junior Devops Engineer at C. Hoare & Co. from January 2020 to May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at BIOMEX Limited from January 2019 to June 2019, where they were responsible for developing a cloud native technology stack utilising Jenkins-X, kubernetes, Docker, running locally on Minikube for development while maintaining parity with Google Kubernetes Engine for deployment. Ben also designed Git workflows working between Gitea local containerized repositories and Bitbucket. Additionally, they contributed to Corda blockchain app development and was responsible for the Gradle/Maven build engine and Helm kubernetes container orchestration and deployment. Ben Lord is proficient in a variety of programming languages including Java/Kotlin, Python, and Bash.

From July 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer at Xenith Consulting Limited, where they were responsible for environment validation for a London based fin-tech startup on Google Cloud Platform. This entailed bastion server configuration, Git workflow, microservice containerization, container deployment, infrastructure automation, unit test code, Golang, Python, Bash, Yaml, Json, Jenkins/Jenkins-X.

Before their career in DevOps, they worked as a Support Analyst at Xenith Consulting Limited from November 2015 to March 2018.

Ben Lord began their educational career by completing a Dip HE in Popular Music and Performance at Thames Valley Uni. Ben then went on to study at Trent college.

They are on a team with Salim Badakhchani - Consultant, Kingsley Hause - Software Engineer in Test, and TO HIRE - Blockchain Engineer. Their manager is Hussein Badakhchani, CTO. and TO HIRE - Cloud Engineer reports to Ben Lord.
