David Black

David Black is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in network and optical engineering, having served as a Senior Network and Optical Engineer at NoaNet since May 2000. Responsibilities at NoaNet include the installation, maintenance, and operation of a statewide SONET/DWDM infrastructure, where David designs customer services, manages network upgrades, and oversees emergency restorations. Prior to this role, David held positions as a Project Engineer at Power Engineers and as an Engineer at Communications, Controls, and Electrical Engineers, Inc., providing engineering support and system design for telecommunications projects. Early career experience includes working as a Design Engineer at US West Communications and as a Communications Electronics Technician in the US Marine Corps.
