Tyler McMillin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tyler started their career as a Surveying Co-Op at the Michigan Department of Transportation in April 2011, and then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Green Manufacturing Initiative - WMU from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they served as a Field Staff at Global Vision International. Tyler joined Leidos in March 2014 as a Field Engineer and worked there till March 2016. Tyler then moved on to NOAR Technologies, where they started as an Application Engineer from March 2016 to April 2018. Tyler was promoted to Senior Application Engineer and held that position until June 2022. Currently, Tyler holds the position of Director of Reality Capture at NOAR Technologies, starting from June 2022.
Tyler McMillin completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Western Michigan University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Holt High School from 2004 to 2008. Apart from their formal education, Tyler McMillin has obtained additional certifications, including Pix4D Mapper Fundamentals from Pix4D in January 2019, Engineer In Training from NCEES in April 2013, Autodesk Civil 3D Certified Professional from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in October 2019, Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2016, and DJI Technical Skills and Repairs Training from DJI in June 2018.
