Bert De Haes

Bert De Haes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bert is the inventor and co-founder of Nobi Smart Lamps since 2018. In 2020, they co-founded Mona and also founded Moja Solutions. Previously, Bert was the owner of UpGrade, an innovation consultancy, where they provided product creation, marketing, and change management services. Bert served as the Chief Technology Officer at MANKIND art from January 2021 to August 2021. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at ONE Smart Control, including co-CEO, founding partner, and director. At Niko, Bert worked as the marketing director and head of product management. Earlier in their career, they founded and managed Intensia, a home automation systems company, and served as the managing director of Vari-Lite Europe, where they merged European distributors into a rental network. Bert also served as the managing director of D&D Entertainment Techniques.

Bert De Haes attended Sint-Romboutscollege from 1973 to 1978, where they studied Latin and Mathematics. Following this, they pursued studies in Technology at TSM, but the duration of their enrollment is unknown.
