William J. Marks, Jr., MD, MS, is the Chief Medical Officer, General Partner, and Co-Founder of Nexus NeuroTech Ventures, a firm focused on advancing breakthrough technologies for brain disorders. They held the position of Chief of Health Professions Education at the Department of Veterans Affairs from 2012 to 2016 and served as a Professor of Neurology at UCSF from 1997 to 2016. Currently, they are an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Neurology & Neurological Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Board Observer at Rune Labs, among other roles with several companies.
