Before transitioning to the corporate world, Eric had an extensive career in professional baseball. Eric played for various teams, including the Alexandria Aces Professional Baseball Club from 1994 to 1999, Greenville Bluesmen in 2000, Baton Rouge Blue Marlins in 2001, and Baton Rouge River Bats in 2002.

Furthermore, Eric also has experience as a business owner. Eric founded E20ACE, LLC in September 2005. Additionally, Eric served as the President and CEO of Aces Baseball, Inc. from January 2009 to September 2013, where they were the largest shareholder of the Alexandria Aces Baseball Club. During their time with the club, they successfully transitioned it to become the first locally-owned baseball franchise in the Continental Baseball League and later the Texas Collegiate League.

Prior to their career in baseball, Eric worked as a Staff Accountant at Oestriecher & Company, CPA's from 1996 to 2000.

Eric Moran attended Tiffin University from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Management, along with Economics and Finance. Before that, in 1989, they spent a brief period at Bowling Green State University, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree or focused on a particular field of study during their time there. In 1988-1989, they attended Bluffton University and studied Business.
