Peter Verstappen serves as a Medisch manager at Team Visma | Lease a Bike since January 2019 and operates as team physician for the Dutch men's hockey team and as a High Performance Partner for TeamNL at the Sportgeneeskundig Centrum Den Haag. Involved with NOC*NSF since 2010, Peter holds multiple roles, including Chef-arts TeamNL and member of the Olympisch Medisch Panel. Additionally, Peter has been affiliated with the Nederlandse Ski Vereniging, CTO metropool Den Haag-Rotterdam-Dordrecht, Nederlands Dans Theater, and KNHB in various medical capacities, contributing extensive expertise in sports medicine and high-performance athletics. Peter also maintains a general practice at Huisartspraktijk Verstappen, established in 1998. Education includes degrees in Geneeskunde and Huisartsgeneeskunde from Leiden University and Utrecht University.
