Ben Ward

Ben Ward has extensive experience in network engineering and operations, currently serving as Principal Platform SDN Engineer at Node4 Ltd since December 2013, progressing through various roles including Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer and Cloud Network Infrastructure Engineer. In addition to a strong background in cloud and data center technologies, Ben is also a Special Constable with Nottinghamshire Police since October 2020 and previously held a Special Sergeant position with the same organization from 2006 to 2014. Other roles include positions at Watersafe UK Search and Rescue as a Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician and at Interoute Application Management as a System Administrator. Ben's career began as a Field Engineer with Choose Pure Solutions from 2006 to 2008, and further developed through network administration positions at Shore to Shore Europe Ltd and W Print Europe Ltd. Ben's foundational education was completed at Wheldon Comprehensive School between 1998 and 2005.
