Gesa Milzer

Gesa Milzer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and business development, currently serving as Senior Project Manager and Senior Business Development Officer at NODESmarket since January 2020. At NODESmarket, Gesa is involved in an independent marketplace facilitating the trade of decentralized energy flexibility among grid owners, producers, and consumers. Prior to this, Gesa volunteered as a Business Initiative Officer at the Marine Megafauna Foundation, focusing on collaboration opportunities related to the marine ecosystem, and worked as an International Business Manager at Meteologica S.A. Gesa began a career in the energy sector as a Young Professional at Vattenfall Energy Trading GmbH, gaining valuable skills in power balance management and European energy market strategies. Gesa holds a Ph.D. in Marine Geology from Université de Bordeaux and a Master's degree in Geosciences from Leibniz Universität Hannover, complemented by studies at Universidad de Salamanca.
