Hao CHANG

Hao Chang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hao is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Atlassian since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Noggin IT as a Senior Software Engineer and Frontend Squad Lead. Hao held this role from August 2019 until their employment at Atlassian. Before that, Hao worked as a Senior JavaScript Developer at Noggin IT from February 2016 to August 2019.

In 2014, Hao joined Datalicious Pty Ltd as a Senior Full-Stack Developer. Here, they were responsible for developing the SuperTag, a smart tag management system used by prominent customers like ANZ, Nab, IAG, Veda, and Cancer Council. Hao worked on both the frontend using AngularJS and the backend using Symfony 2. Additionally, they developed the SuperTag JavaScript SDK libraries.

From 2012 to 2014, Hao worked at ACNW Pty Ltd as the Lead Web Developer, where they provided technical leadership. Hao developed a classified multisite system using Zend Framework, a CMS using Zend Framework 2, and built over 50 web apps on top of this CMS. Hao also developed a news portal for the company.

Earlier in their career, Hao worked as an IELTS Trainer at Oriental Overseas College from 2011 to 2014. Hao also served as a Web Developer at Silver River Australia Pty Ltd for a brief period from September 2011 to May 2012. Before that, they were a Junior Web Developer at HiSoft Technology International Limited from January 2011 to August 2011.

Hao's career journey began at the University of Sydney, where they worked as a Graduate Student from May 2010 to December 2010.

Hao CHANG completed a Master of Information Technologies degree with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Sydney from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications. These include passing the CFA Level II examination with a top 10% score in August 2019 and passing the CFA Level I examination with a top 10% score in August 2018. Hao also received the Google Analytics Individual Qualification with a score of 95% in April 2014. Further, Hao CHANG earned the NAATI Professional Translator certification from NAATI in May 2012.
