Patrick Ohnewein has extensive experience in the technology and innovation sector. Patrick is currently the Head of Tech Transfer Digital at NOI Techpark, a science and technology park in South Tyrol. Patrick is also a Board Member of the AlpineBits Alliance, a group of SME operating in the touristic sector aiming to optimize online presence and marketing efforts for hotels and accommodations in the alpine region.

Previously, Patrick was a Board Member of the Free Software Foundation Europe, a charity that promotes the use of Free Software and empowers users to control technology. Patrick also served as the Organization Manager of the South Tyrol Free Software Conference, which promotes the use of Free Software in digital infrastructures.

Patrick has been involved in various leadership roles in the South Tyrol Free Software community. Patrick co-founded and served as Board Member of the Linux User Group Bolzano-Bozen-Bulsan, and later became its President. Patrick also worked at TIS innovation park, where they held positions such as Head of Free Software Center South Tyrol and Coordinator of the Competence Center Open Source.

In addition, Patrick worked as a Software Developer at Pro Data GmbH, where they were responsible for the conception and development of a new product line in collaboration with external development teams. Patrick'sexperience in software development includes analysis, planning, implementation of prototypes and full production systems, software architecture, and web services.

Patrick Ohnewein attended the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where they studied Computer Science. No specific start or end year was provided for their education at this institution.
