NOKfinders (pronounced “knock” finders) is a forensic genealogy company that provides research services to locate next of kin (NOK) when someone dies. We specifically work on unclaimed person cases (where the decedent’s family cannot be identified by authorities). We provide services to medical examiners, funeral homes and others. 
Organized as an L3C (low-profit LLC) in 2022, NOKfinders’ mission is two-fold: help agencies find next of kin when a person dies while providing a platform for aspiring professional forensic genealogist to get hands on experience. 

FORENSIC GENEALOGISTS - become a member of our Academy and contribute to important research needed to find next of kin for unclaimed persons cases. We provide tools to help with your research efficiency and provide feedback of your work through our review process. 

AGENCIES - Contact us to find out more about our no cost research services. We adhere to the APG Code of Ethics and Professional Practice and provide discreet services. Our researchers have advanced training in forensic genealogy and are not limited on the number of hours dedicated per case.
