Basil A M is a seasoned Staff Firmware Engineer specializing in optical communication, with extensive experience in the DWDM domain, including systems such as ROADM and amplifiers. Currently, they work at Nokia as a Staff Firmware Engineer, building on previous roles at Infinera and Tech Mahindra. Basil began their career at NR Switch -N- Radio Services Pvt. Ltd. as a LOS/RF engineer and has held various engineering and teaching positions throughout their professional journey. They earned a Master’s Degree in Optoelectronics and Laser Technology/Photonics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
