Technical Expertise Center Manager

Bill Jones has extensive experience in technical management roles at ALCATEL-LUCENT, serving as the Technical Expertise Center Manager since February 1981. In this position, Bill oversees worldwide escalation support for BPON and GPON products, coordinates engineer training development, and makes assignments based on customer service priorities. Previously, Bill held the role of Mgr Technical Expertise Center, where responsibilities included implementing employee development programs and enhancing productivity in collaboration with management. Additionally, Bill has experience as Digital Switch Technical Assistance Supervisor, where recruitment and training of a new Technical Assistance group were key contributions. Earlier in his career at TAC, Bill managed Alcatel product support across the U.S., focusing on the recruitment and training of Technical Assistance engineers. Bill holds an Associate of Science degree in Electronics Technology from Columbus Tech.
