Cindi Smith

Cindi Smith possesses extensive legal expertise in procurement, compliance, and corporate law, currently serving as Lead Counsel at Nokia of America Corporation since January 2016, where responsibilities include advising major COO organizations globally and managing a senior legal team. Since December 2006, Smith has also held the position of Head of Legal & Compliance for Workplace Resources, IT, and Quality at Alcatel-Lucent/Nokia, overseeing legal counsel for significant corporate operations. With a career in law that began at Lucent Technologies Inc., Smith has developed strong capabilities in negotiating IT agreements, providing proactive legal advice, and supporting mergers and acquisitions. Educationally, Smith holds a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School, an MBA from Seton Hall University, and a BS in Accounting from Bloomfield College.
