Dragos Cristea

Dragos Cristea is an experienced professional in the telecommunications and network engineering sectors, currently serving as Nokia Ombuds leader for Canada since November 2019, providing legal and compliance guidance. Cristea previously held various senior management roles at Ciena from 2010 to 2019, including Sr. Product Line Manager for IP Network Control and Automation, and played a key role in managing global technical support teams and executing pre-sales customer interactions for SDN and NFV solutions. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Nortel, where Cristea contributed to competitive intelligence, project management, and technical support operations, along with engineering roles at Mitsubishi Electric and early career positions in Romania. Dragos Cristea holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Applied Electronics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
