Fernando Alves, PMP®, is a seasoned Program Manager at Nokia, where they lead multicultural and multidisciplinary software development teams while driving transformations to Agile/Lean methodologies. They have over a decade of experience managing small to medium-sized teams across various continents and have pioneered several successful projects throughout their career. Previously, Fernando held project management roles at companies such as General Electric, Novabase, and Siemens, where they contributed to numerous turnaround successes and advancements in software development practices. They earned an engineering degree from Universidade de Coimbra.
