Gene Liu

Gene Liu has extensive experience in software design and development, particularly in Cloud Native technologies and DevOps methodologies. Currently at Nokia since October 2009, Gene has played a pivotal role in developing Cloud Native deployments for Kubernetes clusters, serving as a Cloud architect and consultant, and designing cloud-ready solutions and platforms for global operations. Prior to this, Gene held senior software engineering roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Lucent Technologies, focusing on R&D in IMS systems, test automation, and wireless packet servers, while also leading teams in product realization and globalization efforts. Gene Liu holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Signalling and Information Processing and Electronic Engineering, respectively, from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
