Vice President Quality & Customer Satisfaction

Hartmut Stark is the Vice President of Quality & Customer Satisfaction at Alcatel-Lucent's Access Division, holding this position since January 2004. Stark has been responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System based on TL9000 and CMMi, as well as developing tailored Product Life Cycle procedures that ensure product timeliness and quality. Prior to this role, Stark served as Sr. Director of Research and Development at Alcatel Mobile Switching, overseeing a $20M R&D budget and a team of 100 engineers. Stark's career in the telecommunications industry began at Alcatel Radio Access, where leadership roles included managing software development for rural telecommunication systems and contributions to satellite communication technology. Stark holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University and a Dipl. Ing. in Telecommunication from Hochschule Esslingen.
