Jaywant Kulkarni

Jaywant Kulkarni is a Principal Architect at Nokia, where they are currently involved in the architecture specification for IPs and SoCs used in 5G Radio and Baseband units, with a focus on ORAN, Fronthaul, and Layer 1 as they transition to 6G. Previously, Jaywant held engineering and leadership positions at companies such as Qualcomm, where they served as Director of Engineering, and Mavenir as Principal Engineer for 5G Radio. They have extensive experience in digital design and systems architecture, having worked at firms like Texas Instruments and Intel Corporation, and began their career at Thermax and Nital Computers Pune. Jaywant holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation from the College of Engineering Pune and a PG Diploma in VLSI from CDAC ACTS VLSI.
