John Hickey

John Hickey is a dedicated and result-oriented senior security engineer at Nokia, where they focus on product security, security assurance, and security by design throughout the product life cycle. With previous roles as a system engineer at AT&T and Lucent Technologies, as well as a security systems engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, John brings extensive telecommunications security experience. They have been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) since 2009 and led the ISO SC27 security standards mirror committee in Ireland for over six years. Currently, John represents Nokia at the GSMA security assurance forum (SECAG) and is committed to aligning product security with global security assurance standards. John earned an Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick.
