Jon Hauser is a Senior Patent Counsel at Nokia Technologies, specialising in multimedia technical analysis, litigation, and patenting. A Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney with experience in patent drafting and prosecution, Jon works extensively with video coding Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and implementation patents for OTT content distribution systems. Jon's previous roles include serving as an Associate at EIP and Withers & Rogers LLP, as well as academic positions as a Visiting Scientist at UCLA, Université Denis Diderot, and NHS. Jon holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Bristol and a Post Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University.
