Kai Willner

Kai Willner is a German and European Patent Attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property law. They are currently serving as a Senior Patent Counsel at Nokia since 2023. Prior to this role, they were a Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at Huawei Technologies from 2015 to 2023, and previously worked as a Patent Attorney at Schumacher & Willsau from 2011 to 2015. Kai also spent two years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Dipartimento di Chimica, Università di Roma "La Sapienza" from 2005 to 2007. Their academic credentials include a Doctorate in Molecular Physics from Université Paris-Sud and Universität Hannover, and advanced degrees in Physics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie.
