Karl Hanson

Karl Hanson is an Intellectual Property Strategist and Senior Patent Counsel at Nokia, where they focus on leveraging intellectual property to enhance competitive advantages. Previously, they served as the Director of Patents and Technology at Red Chalk Group, advising on patent strategies while managing risks associated with fast-moving technologies. Karl has also worked as an Associate Attorney at Kirkland & Ellis and Aon, where they provided insights into patent portfolio alignment and intellectual property risk management. They are currently pursuing a JD at Chicago-Kent College of Law and hold an MS in Technology Management and a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
