Markus Warken

Markus Warken is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and research. They served as a 5G R&D Product Owner and held leadership roles in release and backlog management at Nokia between 2010 and 2020. Markus began their career at Siemens AG as a Manager of Software Development from 1998 to 2007 and later contributed to Nokia-Siemens-Networks as an LTE eNB SW Program Manager from 2007 to 2010. They earned a doctorate in Physics and Mathematics from The University of Bonn, completing their studies in 1994. Additionally, Markus held postdoctoral research positions at both the University of Cambridge and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
