Software Design Engineer

Muhammad Sohail is a software design engineer at Nokia since September 2016, having initially contributed to the copper transport team with advancements in DSLAM technologies and later focusing on the fiber transport team to launch the industry-first 25GSPON product utilizing the Quillion chipset. Prior experience includes a research internship at imec, where work involved porting the FFT algorithm for low power platforms, as well as a design engineer role at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering. Muhammad also served as a research intern at Connekt Lab SEECS NUST. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
