Pete Evans is a distinguished professional in the field of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) development, currently serving as a Fellow at Nokia since February 2025. Previously, Pete spent nearly 18 years at Infinera, where roles included Fellow, Sr. Director, and Director of PIC Product Development, overseeing the development of PIC chips from proof of concept to manufacturing. Prior to that, Pete held various engineering positions at Infinera, Genoa, and Hewlett Packard/Agilent, focusing on process engineering, device fabrication, and the development of advanced optical technologies.
