Robert Fox is a graduate of the Telecommunications Technology Program at Sheridan College and currently serves as the Privacy Officer & Security Leader for the IP and Optical Business division at Nokia. With over eighteen years of experience as a security professional in telecommunications, Robert has held significant positions at Nortel Networks and Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent, delivering security solutions to Fortune 500 customers. Previously, as the Information Technology Security Coordinator at Atomic Energy of Canada, Robert managed all aspects of enterprise network security. Robert holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified ISO 27001 auditor and is in the process of obtaining the IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) designations.
