Ron Johnson

Ron Johnson is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Optical Networking Division at Nokia, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, Ron served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Optical Systems and Network Solutions Group at Infinera from 2021 to 2025, and held various management positions at Cisco from 2005 to 2010, including Senior Manager of Product Line Management. Before these experiences, Ron worked as a Manager of Technology Introduction at SBC from 1997 to 2000. With specialties in product management, technology selection, differentiation, and service provider architecture, Ron brings extensive expertise to the telecommunications industry.
