Sergio Silva is a seasoned Principal System Engineer with extensive experience in telecommunications and engineering. Currently holding a position at Nokia since February 2025, Sergio has also been with Infinera from October 2018 and previously worked at Coriant, Inc. from November 2017 to October 2018. Sergio earned a PhD in Engineering Physics, specializing in Software Engineering methodologies for High-Energy Physics Experiments Data Acquisition Systems, from Instituto Superior Técnico, UTL Lisboa, Portugal, between 1991 and 1998.
