Shane Shane is a Principal Research Lead at Nokia, based in Paris-Saclay, France, with over 15 years of research and development experience in IoT, 5G, and related vertical domains. Currently, Shane serves as the Vice Chair of ITU-T SG20 and chairs the Requirements and Domain Model Working Group in oneM2M, contributing significantly to global standardization efforts. Prior to joining Nokia in 2015, Shane worked at Hitachi as a Senior Researcher and Team Leader in IoT and M2M, focusing on architecture innovation and standardization. Shane holds a PhD in Wireless Sensor Networks from the Beijing Institute of Technology.
