Stefan Bayer

Stefan Bayer is currently a Principal Audio ML Researcher at Nokia, where they apply their extensive expertise in audio and machine learning. They completed a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and have held research associate positions at both University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and Fraunhofer IIS. Earlier in their academic journey, Stefan earned an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Sound Engineering from Technische Universität Graz, following a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt II in Linz. In 2017, they took a sabbatical to finalize their doctoral thesis.
