Sylvain Chenard

Sylvain Chenard, ing., is the Quantum-Safe Networks solutions leader for Nokia's Network Infrastructure Business, bringing nearly three decades of experience in telecommunications. With a background in secure optical communication systems, cryptography, and software virtualization, Sylvain collaborates with Nokia Bell Labs to develop cutting-edge techniques and algorithms for securing digital infrastructure. Prior to their role at Nokia, Sylvain contributed to strategic technology roadmaps at companies like GENBAND inc and Nortel, while also serving as a principal Product Line Manager at Alcatel-Lucent. Sylvain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval, Canada, and is recognized as a Nokia Distinguished Member of Technical Staff and an IEEE senior member.
